Leading global trading firm is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join their New York-based team
The successful candidate will join a high-performance team with responsibility for:
-Owning a portfolio of complex, large scale technical projects/programs end-to-end with a focus on pre- and post-trade;Â
-Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver both strategic and tactical initiatives;
-Building relationships with key stakeholders, in particular with Engineering, Operations, Product, Research and Trading teams;Â
-Working with Engineers and Product Managers to coordinate requirements gathering, technical specs, user stories and delivery;Â
-Developing and managing process to track and evaluate KPIs and metrics;
-Representing tech in delivering status updates to business stakeholders internally;
-Managing strategic external consultant and vendor relationships.
Key requirements for success in this role include:
-10+ years' experience in managing complex end-to-end technical projects / programs spanning trading operations in a bank, consulting, hedge fund and/or trading firm;
-Software engineering and/or technical product/project background a plus;
-Ability to operate effectively, managing multiple competing priorities and schedules, in dynamic and fluid environments;
-Experience working cross-functionally with a particular focus on Engineering, Operations, Product, Research and Trading teams;
-Deep understanding of end-to-end workflow as it relates to post-trade operations strongly preferred;
-Knowledge of, and interest in, automation, data analytics, process optimization and the deployment new technologies strongly preferred;Â
-Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, math, operations research or related technical discipline; Advanced degree preferred;Â
-Professional certification, ie PMP, CSPO preferred;
-Experience operating with Agile methodology and use of relevant tools, ie: Jira.

A highly competitive compensation package including base salary (to $300k) + a performance-linked bonus is on offer. Â
